Equipment Overview
The Crimped Wire Mesh Machine, also known as pre-formed mesh machine, pressed mesh machine, mining screen mesh machine, or square mesh machine, is primarily used for the production of crimped wire mesh.
This machine is available in three models: semi-automatic, fully automatic, and hydraulic.
As a key piece of wire mesh machinery, our company is one of the earliest manufacturers in this field and has earned a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Our newly developed crimped wire mesh machine breaks away from traditional key-operated warp feeding methods. It adopts a dual-roller weft insertion system, which significantly improves weft insertion frequency and overall machine stability, while also making operation more user-friendly. Equipped with electromagnetic clutch induction braking, this machine effectively increases production efficiency by 1.5 times and reduces mechanical failure rates to near zero.
Equipment Types
Crimped wire mesh machines are mainly classified into three types: semi-automatic, fully automatic, and hydraulic.
Semi-automatic model – Suitable for weaving metal wires ranging from 2mm to 6mm in diameter. It adopts a “pre-crimp then weave” process with manual weft insertion.
Fully automatic model – Designed for wires under 2mm in diameter. It features a stepless speed control motor and dual-roller weft insertion technology, supporting high-speed weaving with automatic stop and alarm functions, as well as electromagnetic clutch induction braking.
Hydraulic model – Built for heavy-duty processing of large-diameter wires from 6mm to 14mm.
Technical Features
The winding unit of this machine features an innovative design. Through a tensioning device combined with Roller I and Roller II, the system automatically adjusts the tension force during winding, effectively preventing product damage caused by excessively high or low tension at the start of the winding process. Additionally, the integration of a fixing device and lifting mechanism allows finished rolls to be quickly lowered from the overhead position without the need for additional lifting equipment. This streamlines the production process and reduces equipment investment costs.
Weaving Materials & Patterns
The crimped wire mesh machine is capable of processing a wide range of materials, including black steel wire, stainless steel wire, galvanized wire, PVC-coated wire, wire rods, and iron wire. It supports various weaving patterns such as bidirectional wave crimping and flat-top crimping, and can produce diamond-shaped protective mesh and mining screen mesh with aperture sizes ranging from 2cm to 20cm.
